Hello To those of you who have Ana 2 (standard version)...is it any good? What is the ultimate bundle like?
Ana2 is a really great synthesizer. Slate Digital ANA2 Ultra Bundle v2.0.98-RET 400+ new presets Hundreds of new wavetables Hundreds of new samples 6 new sound banks New skins New sounds dropping throughout the year
Nope. Just tried it out, because I saw this thread and was curious. Very shitty sounds. Not even worth to download.
For 49€ on sale, it's ok I have seen more BS Synths for 3-4 times the price But like Plainview already said, nothing special
ANA 2 is a lot better than 1 If presets are up to your taste, it is a good synth Now the problem is comparing it with OTHER synths ...
It is a steal for the price. Oscillators and filters are of good quality. I like the sound of unison engine and supersaw in it. If you prefer creating your own sounds, you won't regret it. In case you do not want to invest, try these free synths: Vital Surge OBXD Dexed
It's a capable wavetable synth, 3 Oscillators plus additional 3 sample oscillators that makes it 6 in total (or maybe 9 considering each oscillator has its own Sub knob), basic FM function, legendary filters emu like the usual Moog plus Roland, OB, Korg and even EMS, all those amp, filter envelope plus 2 more Mod envelopes (also analog emu, optional can pick digital if want that) and 3 additional Graphical Envelope (MSEG) and full high quality FX section (they even modeled the Juno Chorus). Add the comprehensive sequence/arp/chord section (I rarely use them) and its huge Mod Matrix I think it has everything a wavetable synth should have. A little hard to program (but easier compared to other advance wavetable synth) because too many options but IMO it is capable to make anything I can think of, the only limitation is.. well.. probably my sound design skills and imagination. Ah, pretty neat Browser/Librarian system as well, making its huge preset banks a factor if you prefer that. I think its weakness are the FM, Waveshaping and Unison controls capabilities that comes nowhere near Massive, Massive X, Avenger (and that Z3ta+ 2) or even Serum. In return they includes tons of wavetables (some from all those legendary synths) as a starting point. However I almost always get better result with Dune 3 or Spire. Last edited: Sep 22, 2021

Soundwise it's good, but it seem to be turning into a rompler, Omnisphere-style. You won't learn wavetable synthesis with it. If you just wanna make some dope EDM tracks as fast as possible, than it's a fine tool, I guess. If electronic music is your passion and you want a tool that will let you grow as a producer, sound designer and engineer, better use Serum or DUNE 3. They both function without any external .wav-files and feature serious editing options, on top of extensive feature list. Serum is more digital and hard, while DUNE is analog-ish and dreamy. Or Vital. Basically alternative Serum for free.
