    I only knew one song of his, from the 90s, 'Oneski' stayed with me ever since. Will have to plunder his back catalogue

    Oh man.... Gutted... One of my heroes too. I never got to see Cabs live, my favourite band for 35 years probably. Kept looking out hoping they'd do a gig together some time. Devastated.

    I seem to be amongst a lucky few who saw them playing live. Well, it was in 1995, if I recall correctly, seems right before Mallinder left to Australia.

    RIP Kirk. :( Your music still has a great influence on my style. "Sensoria" being one of my favourites.

    My inspiration since 1979 saw them in 83 Crackdown met them after show got taxi to hotel had drinks and talked stuff in their bedroom till late Richard threw a bible at the wall that night never forget.
