    Some details:
    It's now 40$ instead of 300$

    That's until September 20.

    Compare to:
    1. stock Cubase Eq’s
    2. Pro Q 3
I have legit Cubase and q3, do i need another one?
No trolling, or other negative. just curious what makes this equalizer special

Q3 is not cramped either so there is no difference from this one (except that Q3 beats it in every measureable way). It's just that SSL makes "Anti-cramping" a big selling point for their EQ, which is just cringe worthy! Any EQ I pay a premium price for, I expect to not be cramped. Even a good amount of free EQ's are not cramped ffs. Pro Q-3 has so many more features and conveniences that they are almost too many to list here, and they still don't make a big fuzz about them. Even everybodys favorite punching-bag Analog Obsession has a handfull of non-cramped EQ's.

Sorry for the rant, but stuff like this makes me

But analog obsessions plugins are trash and change their sound every other weak. you armchair developers and engineers will say anything. Let them shout form the moutnain tops about anti cramping if they want after all they are hardware makers first which would have been their top priority all this time. Why didn't you send them a Cover letter detailing your dsp expertise along side your years of experience in software in your curriculum vitae so you will show them how to do things

It sounds better than pro q because of their theory behind bandwidths, surely you can match it with pro q but out of those two SSL EQ-2 will get you a better sound faster. Which the video clearly demonstrates

    Good question @glassybrick!!
I have the Fabfilter Q3 as well which I nearly use on a daily basis... and others. I actually bought the SSL Native X-EQ 2 yesterday, tested it a bit and find it (so far) very useful, very linear whatever.... I need some more testing.
Basically I love SSL plugs and this one hasn´t been offered on the sister site so far.

I listened just a few sec .. man why can't we Dutch people never talk decent English
(not that I'm good at it haha but I don't make such vids)
I added my VAT number to my profile but can't remove tax from a possible order so it seems :dunno:
Not sure if I want to buy it though as I'm happy Pro-Q 3 user.

I mean, the guy speaks perfect idiomatic English, it's just the pronunciation/accent, which I find common with most Dutch people.

Now, I'm not Dutch nor English so take this with a grain of anecdotal salt.

But English and Dutch are closer than most people think, a friend of mine, a Brit who speaks no other languages than English, had several gigs in the Netherlands. It didn't take him too much time to start understanding the language though he said that while there something really familiar the tone was just off. I'd imagine it works the other way as well.

Me, having some understanding of German, Swedish and yes, English, the Dutch language is almost readable for me. Go figure.

To cap it off here's comedy genius of Bill Bailey

    True
"I added my VAT number" .. so I guess I already run a business, don't you think? :winker:
True, and that's what I don't like when watching vids, can't help it.
What I do like, is Bill Bailey :bleh: especially when he does sketches with music and instruments :like:
