If you could only use 3 or 4 VST's from now on, which would you choose?

    Studio One Fat Channel, that’ll pretty much be ok for my EQ and compression.

    IK sunset sound reverb could cover pretty much all my reverb needs

    Fabfilter Timeless for my delay needs

    Fabfilter Saturn for my drive/saturation etc



    funnily enough, I don’t actually use those fabfilter ones much but if I was that limited, I’d pick them for pure versatility

    It totally depends on what DAW you use. If you're on Reaper, you need a Limiter.
    But this will change as Reaper's next release will include Realimit - new program-dependent brickwall limiter plugin.

    Real men don't use VSTs. They just download every cracked VST in the world and spend 10 years installing/uninstalling them every few weeks.

    Diva, Zebra, Kontakt, and the REAPER built-in FX. Maybe Gullfoss and one or two other specialized mixing plugins too. That's it.
