The font is an essential part of branding and brand personality that is frequently disregarded. A font, often known as ""typography"" in the design world, has a significant impact on a brand's entire feel. Your brand's feel, voice, and message can all be influenced by the design of letters (fonts).
I don't have a favorite font yet. I still do enjoy the one called Thinking of Betty Font. You can find it on https://upfonts.com/thinking-of-betty-font/. I have used it many times already for different projects that I had, and it was a success each time.

    Road Rage https://www.dafont.com/road-rage.font

Dark Twenty (goes well with geometric sans serif fonts) https://www.dafont.com/dark-twenty.font

For bold, geometric font art, you can make do with fonts like Impact too, it's just a matter of applying an outward stroke and bevelling the edges (EDIT: I meant corners, sorry) (and some other adjustments too like character tracking, but obviously there are better options)

Otherwise, browse under here and pick the one you like the most: https://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=303

i have thousands of fonts around and there are some design fonts which i think look really cool, but my favorite font is the normal skia which comes with macs since 30 years. it is my favorite font because i use it a lot to label things in my software, it offers a good readability for "headline" type of use cases in the size area of around 14 - 48.

i like stuff like that, too, but in practice it is unreadable, it is more a thing you use one time in photoshop.

so im trying to make my own Soundbank picture for my presets in the Arturia synth.

To answer OP's question, for me I like the font used by Ableton Live website. don't know its name though.

Mine was, for a while, Century Gothic. I'd use it all the time on every project, and my peers would make fun of me for it. But really, I like any geometric or sans serif font. Geo Sans Light, Louis George Cafe, Modern Sans Light, Lemon Milk, Sifonn...

Reminds me of a classmate I had. He was a bit obsessed with yellow. Most of his designs were predominantly yelllow.

I don't understand much about fonts although I do understand why designers go on about typefaces.

For coding and/or terminals though it's gotta be Fira Code (w/ ligatures of course ) or ProFont.

I used to be a font creator. In 1990s I created more than 110 fonts. They were 7-bit TTF for Win 3 and I used Fontographer and FontMonger (bought later by Adobe) 16-bit font editing software.
Since then I was so sick and tired of fonts that I use Times New Roman solely, for the last 20 years.

Liberation Sans Regular. You won't find it in Windows, but Tahoma or Ariel font is pretty close. I like it because it's obviously easy to read.

    Have a look:

It's also painfully obvious how much better fonts look in Linux and MacOS OSes. Windows font rendering is completely pitiful. Font rendering matters more than a font itself, so if you're using Windows you have a harder time to find one. I find Tahoma and Arial rather good in Windows. In other OSes it doesn't matter that much because they're all rather readable, but as I said I prefer Liberation Sans Regular that comes with LibreOffice.

    Cheers!

Also my absolute favourite font. It is so beautifully tidy and clear, so beautifully round, etc.

Also like the DIN and the Interstate font family...You see I'm obvisually a german although I dont like broken Grotesk fonts like the "Tannenberg"! :winker:
