That's good to hear, but when I was actually talking about power supply, I was talking about "laptops" specifically for the problem with their power supply (ac adapter) causing noise issues. It's a fairly common problem.

Just so nobody else misunderstood what I posted - The laptop issue is easy to figure out if you open up your DAW, run a song so you get the annoying noise in your monitors and then pull out your AC adapter from your laptop so it remains running on its battery. If the noise immediately goes away, the issue is from the power supply. The hum-x will then likely resolve the issue without having to do anything else.

CONGRATS AND THANKS TO THRASHHEAD - The Ebtech Hum-X destroyed the hum that was based on my PC's activity/processor. Nothing tops this little miracle worker. WHAT A FIND! Thank you again brother!

good that it works , but an 8 outlet Furman power conditioner (lowest model) is like 30$ more at the retailer I use. or so...
They are very easy to find second-hand, and so the more expensive units are usually around 75-100$ used.

I was hoping you had ended up checking one out, just to see if it would work.

Went with me gut on this one and it paid off! (Now if I had only been smart enough to realize I had ordered an Audient ID14 Mk1 and not a Mk2 like i thought I had done, I'd be swinging way below par!) ;-) Thanks anyway bro!
