Good to know. I'm guessing it must be some weird isolated thing happening on my end then. I've never encountered this before. I wonder if my .nicnt is corrupted somehow. Version 5.6.0 seems to see it as being there. It just won't appear in 6.4.2.

My first question: are you getting .tmp files appear on your desktop?

 

Hi, @Smoove Grooves, great timing... I just got it working a few moments ago and was about to post here. There were 2 variables this time. I installed the library again and a different library I wanted to test, and perhaps most importantly, this time I had relaunched my DAW. I usually just open a new instance of v6.4.2, and any new libraries seem to show up. I think it was restarting my DAW that did it. Thanks for checking in.

 

Well no, that doesn't affect Kontakt's indexing.
But this may imply that you usually add libaries with daw and both versions of Kontakt open?
Don't do that! Ever. Add in standalone and then quit, then open up daw.
And 6.4.2 has been strange. Since 6.4.0 there were bugs with certain libraries not loading (CSS) and they had to address them in updates.

 

Thanks for the tip. I've often had my DAW open while adding libraries. I think once that conflict might have caused all my library tabs in 6.4.0 to get re-ordered to whatever nonsense ordering was in 5.6.0. But I started hitting cancel when prompted to save when closing 5.6.0, and I haven't noticed that particular issue again. But I'll start adding separately. Thanks again.

 

It's the fact that you would have had the plugin version of Kontakt open too, as well as the standalone. The daw is not related.

Obviously, only have 5.6.0 standalone open when adding libs is the rule.

Sorry for the total noob question, but how does one run a patch command after installing a new version of Kontakt? I've tried opening the 6.4.2 patch command in Terminal, and only get the message I've attached. How do I know if I've done things correctly?

Ohhhh, since the password wasn't showing up in terminal, I assumed it wasn't working, but it was actually hidden. Ha! It's all working now, massive thanks!!!

 

Hi¡¡ I just installed 6.5.3. in High sierra 10.13.6.
All is good but when open the plugin in Cubase 10 (only de first time i create a track) always appears the buy, activate or demo menu.
If I press demo all is working, i load a library (kitty¡) and all is good but i dont want watch that pop up allways. Any solution??

Hi, Anybody else suddenly having an issue with Moria 6.6.0 or 6.6.1 on Mac (Big Sur) where the "save samples" or "save monolith" is grayed out under all conditions?

6.5.3 works fine but 6.6+ is crippled.
