“Export Song to multiple audio file formats in one pass”

that’s pretty nice. For a lot of my projects I often need an mp3 and Wav version. Not that the extra couple of minutes bouncing both separately bothered me before this feature, I never really thought about it but it’s pretty handy

The plug-in nap feature is cool, although I never get anywhere near using so much cpu, still it’s good.

the new autosave is really nice. The old one with the annoying window interfering with working could get very annoying.

To make it easy for the new audience. That's what any DAW maker want, new money spending users of their product.

Some really awesome new features added here - especially cool is the plug-in 'Statistics' tab.

Amazing what we get for a .x update.

Win10 is a truly dreadful OS. The interface makes you want to puke. It was designed for Touch screens and how many people have those?

It's packed with telemetry and spyware. It's slow and kludgy.

If you install (free) W10Privacy, you can speed it up and get rid of almost all of the spy/telemetry garbage.

If you get hold of Stardock Start10, you can put the interface back to Windows 7

After this, it's useable, but you need a good firewall to keep out the hackers. It's got more security holes than Emmentaler cheese.

    fair enough

Never had a problem with it personally, although I never connect it to the internet and literally use 2 programmes on it, Maybe that’s why.

    Sorry, but...
    Really? Only now?
    Really? Only now?
Oh no I'm going to piss myself...:hahaha:
No, I'm very happy for S1 users.
    To have standard things.

That update is nothing, because it all mostly should have been there from the beginning.

    Thank you but no because:
    Meaning I, too.

The point is, he seems to be pretending/acting like it is some amazing feature!
And as if he is talking to children, yes.
It's MIDI. It's what a daw is based on!
And the interface S1 has for doing it is standard.
I guess it's all just YT 'content' for them.
And maybe any content is useful as product promo!

Native ARM yeah, nice performance with my macMini M1 !

I can max out the cores until the studio one CPU meter goes into the yellow area and still no clicks :)

I am testing plugin nap function. It works for some plugins but not for omnisphere, kontakt, etc. Anyone experiencing the same thing ?

it's for VST plugins and not VST Instruments.
It works based on some gating function. If the sound from a channel goes beyond a threshold the plugin is napped. That is it.
