Hi, so I just bought a Roland XV-2020 and everything works fine, except for the USB drivers, I tried the XP/2000/ME drivers from Roland's website and it just hangs when I launch the installer program, is there any alternative way to install these drivers? I'd really like to use the XV-2020 in FL Studio.

    Thanks.

Have you tried to install them using XP compatibility mode?

    Cool.
My thoughts: If the old (and no more available) Juno driver can be patched then I suppose that should work with the Win10 Juno driver too!

You can not use the setup.exe as Windows 10 can't use it properly.

I never use the setups for any drivers, I always extract the drivers and manually add them from computer/ hardware device list.

So download the drivers from roland here
    https://www.roland.com/ca/support/b...drivers/1159dc0e-b271-4a68-babb-35b88cccba3a/
click "I agree and download it"

    Open up the zip archive

Inside the 2020 folder you will see the drivers there no need to install using the setup.exe

    Right click my computer/properties/device manager

Goto to your device/ right click properties/ driver tab/update driver/ browse my computer for device software

Now at the bottom section : LET ME PICK from a list of available device drivers/ custom device top selection
Click have disk and browse to the location where you extracted the drivers from the roland download.
File you need to double click is "RDIF1025.INF" as this is the driver INF file that setups the device and also copies over the other required files (rddv1025.dll and RDWM1025.sys)

You may get a red message about "Driver not digitally signed, install anyways and click yes.

Another way to install the driver is to right click the RDIF1025.INF and click install, however this is not recommended on Windows 10 as you will not be able to see the list of drivers available on as you do in Device Manager.
