old V.R NFO, even not directly targeted to R2R but said that keygen, emulator and serial (the way R2R do their thing) is too much hassle, while their method of doing thing with packing everything in one installer is better. So this is basically ideology and philosophy war not just bad mouthing. It's healthy... in a way, i guess ?

I enjoyed both release, and some other group as well. I also want to ask if anybody knows anything about SYNTHiC4TE, it seems like they stopped releasing stuff now, it's been 6 months I guess. I miss all the Puremix videos.

Anyone here succesfully imported the certificate? I followed this guide http://certificate.fyicenter.com/413_certmgr_msc-Import_Root_CA_Certificate.html all fine, then on R2R txt file is written:
"R2RCERTEST.exe :
Just run and you can check the installation of certificate."
I ran the exe but i get an error saying: "R2R Root certificate is not installed or this application is modified and broken"
I'm on Win10 21H1

I would like to see Cargo Cult Spanner as well. That would complete the collection from the "Great Wave". Aside from that, I have been pleasantly shocked to see what R2R has been throwing our way. I mean I have my hopes and dreams on what is coming next or what will be shared. I was shocked to see RET throwing Dehumanizer at us! Hopefully we will see some more of that come down the pike,

But you know, (if I can borrow the soapbox) I am ever thankful and appreciative for all that they (insert godly groups and providers here) have been sharing with us all throughout the years. Helping individuals really "Try before you Buy".

Yeah. Open (⊞+R) certmgr.msc (edit oops =) Go to Trusted Root Certification Authorities >> Certificates. Right click on certificates >> All tasks >> Import. Select the R2RCA.cer file. Follow instructions (click through). Check w/ checker tool. Profit!

I'm not sure on this, but I think one of the reasons R2R publishes patches/keygens separated is to avoid other groups to steal their work, or make it more difficult.
I also think they've accused more than once VR of using their work.

It's exactly as explained on the site i posted, but you wrote "certlm.exe", that command doesn't exists, not even "certmgr.exe", only "certmgr.msc" and you need to be admin anyway or the command will not work, i followed that instructions, the certificate is there, but if i run the exe it says is not installed. I removed the certificate, ran certmgr as admin, imported as specified on instructions, and same shit, when i run the .exe it says is not installed. Did you restart your machine after that?

Edit: got it, that site says to add it on "Third-Party Root Certification Authorities" you said "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" which is the right place, now it works, thank you!

Sorry, but Team V.R can not ever be compared to Team R2R because there is none, and i say NONE of V.R releases that is working as supposed to...
All Team V.R releases have revisions one after another and after all this years he is not improving his skills at all...AT ALL !!!!
So he can just speak nonsense, but we saw how Team AiR have done that Absolute keygen, compared to Team V.R, team V.R is funny in that matter. Imagine Team AiR release all keys for Steinberg products, team V,R will be history in no time...

Regarding certificates, all of you should know that Team V.R also forces his certificate to be installed silently in the background, in every recent Steinberg release, but Team R2R acknowledges us, what they want to do. so if someone is making some conspiracy to degrade team R2R, dont do that, because your Team V.R bot is doing the same thing, and dont even tells us.....

And yes, for a millionth time i will say, and repeat that Team VR is using R2R work, and i have proven to myself in one release, when i saw that he used Team R2R old SWAM keygen to generate licenses for Saxophone, Clarinet, Strings etc....

Unlike Team V.R ,Team R2R installer are all transparent and can be unpacked with all source install code, while Team V.R locks his installations with password so no one can access them, even if the crack is very bad, so what is the point and he is the one who steals other works and claims like himself, and if you ask me that is nasty business.

I would never and i am not using a single release from Team V.R except Steinberg license generator, with my modified setup, because Team V.R puts untrustful files in system, makes big mess with installation path and files....
Team V.R have done that license generator and let Windows 7 users down, because even he don't know how to deal and make that work under Windows 7, and myself like someone who is not a cracker, know how to make that shit working under Windows 7, and not to use a FAKER licenser... pure nonsense.....

Team R2R deserves to be praised every single day in our life's.
They have CONTRIBUTED and helped a lot poor people to be able to make some music with better tools....

And because of that i cant believe that there is some people who actually compare Team R2R with Team V.R , while R2R have more than 10k of releases with 99.99% working stuff and Team V,R have none properly working... ZERO, 0, NULL, NONE!!!!
Sorry Team V.R but if that is true that you are speaking about Team R2R on RuT, then you deserve all the hate from R2R...

I've never had a single problem with any VR release. Arturia, Voxengo, TBPro, etc. etc. all work as expected.

 

i don't even wanna start talking about that.
You have sister site and a lot ppl complaining, for example latest Massive X release. All arturia stuff goes to demo at some point. Total mess with file installation....You like him, good for you, i wish you luck. For me V.R never gave me a proper solution even when i tried to give him a chance, program leaded me to home site where they captured my ip address because i was using pirated software, so that debate about team VR it is not interesting to me... You have sister site and the facts from the others. Good night
