If I wanted to do that, I wouldn't go through 36 paths and without breaking my head too much .... I take my final master I record it on a good k7 recorder, once and then twice, even three times or more if necessary and I have my sound ... A "dirty" or saturated or I do not know what else ...

I would go as far and say acustica audios nebula in combination with any tape impulse response ist the only tape emulation out there.
I had (well, have) tape and know how it sounds, over ages no emulation came near.
It's more that compression and some distortion - it is a very complex sound.
I tried satin, slate digital, waves and all the others.
don't know what nebula does, but it does it right.

Oh and... there is no "this and that tape sound matches your mix"..
there is ONE tape sound. different tapes, different speeds, but within that range there's one sound you're after.

If there are any Reaktor nerds here check out Musicrow Green Master Tape. That thing sounds fkn incredible. You can find it in the golden ensemble bundle next door. The rest of their plugs in that bundle besides the plate verb are bad but they really nailed it with their tape emulation.

it is somewhat broken, you have to be careful with noise buildup, but it’s worth the hassle because it sounds so damn good

Also, make sure you set your kHz to 176.4 or at the very least 88.2. It really makes a difference with this one

Nebula style, the new TAIPEI from London Acoustics is really really amazing. Going to put it against the usual Nebula suspects and Taupe

Too many options. A tape plugin has to be simple enough so you can work fast.
200 presets are a waste of time.
Cupwise ax102 tape is the simplest and the best sounding.

 

The scene or the sister site don't revolve around "Requests".
And do you not also see a distinct lack of Acustica Audio generally?

I didn't mean to imply it revolved around requests, only voicing curiosity about the "reason" you mentioned but didn't elaborate on, and using the lack of a request as an example of what I found odd, as I would've imagined there would be at least some desire for it (even if they aren't possible to or difficult to crack) as it seems high quality. I just recently came across Nebula on the russian trucker, so apologies if I'm oblivious to this situation, like I said I'm only recently hearing about them.

Nothing is better , just use you ears , for exemple Slate Virtual Tape Machine was used for The Weeknd - Alone Again , personally i use Slate Tapes , Softube Tape , Ampex everything is good just use your ears for the sound your looking for , try all settings , and listen what it's doing to your song !
