Seeing as we're all adults here I think we can give feedback that we don't like a track without shitting on the musician that made it. Remember this isn't a band that someone likes, it's their own stuff. Let's try to be a little understanding so these forums could be open to ALL musicians.
I can`t help but dislike the whole DubStep thing, which makes me sad as I rode the fook outta the whole Rave/House thing in the late 80`s and loved being at the forefront of a burgeoning music scene. I LOVED HardCore/Jungle so was gutted that the next progression did fook all for me! I still feel 25 even though the sad truth says I`m actually 42! That said, I LOVE this track. Fooking hard as fook with fookers getting fooked! Fooking schaweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Real talent here, IMHO, keep at it, rock dat discotheque!
there's nothing to be shat here Catalyst, that band is better than 90+% of this forum (electronic music side). When you compare their stuff to the vast majority of the other edm tracks posted here, you can clearly see the difference.
Well the fact that an artist might be talented is not the reason that I don't allow it, it's because I want this to be a place where people can feel comfortable to share. And I don't know about 90%, we've got a lot of amazing artists here. You'll see on the album.
i've listened to some submissions for that album but i don't now man... Psycho Crooks on soundcloud just feel like another league. no offense or such.
Those are just the first round of submissions and some of them are first drafts with no mastering. Plus most are different genres so it's not easy to compare and when you compare what are you comparing...production, structure or what? I actually liked a lot of the entries and most of our members haven't even submitted anything yet, I think it's waaaayyyy too early to judge.
