    Hello everyone,

I searched internet for the answer, but there is a lot of answers...

In your opinion, which library (maybe Kontakt) or whatever has the best piano sound ? And it's at reasonable mb :) Not tons of Mb-s...

I found one video, there is a comparsion of 18 libraries... to me Galaxy Steinway has the best sound...

CineSamples Piano In Blue is good but the download is like 8.64 gigs. However it's a really nice piano. :grooves:

Alicia's Keys by NI sounds good. It won't work with Chopin and Beethoven, but otherwise it's a very flexible and nice one.
    (1.x Gb?)

i think it really depends on your individual taste as well as the type of music you intend to use it for. i agree that the galaxy steinway sounds great. but i also like tonehammer's emotional piano and the giant.

I give a second vote for the Alicia Keys piano. The library is huge, but it's my go to sound any day. I also really like the sound of some of the Addictive Keys pianos.

Actually I keep on my laptop's internal drive the old Acoustic Piano library, but only the Bechstein and Steinway programs. Pretty good all rounder piano library, and with only these two instruments it has exactly 5GB.

its ~7GB and really good sounding with some reverb on it - so ready out of the box.
there was this 8dio 1928 Piano, but its 10GB.
dont think Alicia key is already packed with NCW and also the 1928 piano isnt packed with NCW.

about UVI - needs mostly iLok and the uvi player kind of sucks.

pianoteq and EZ Keys. but if you can get over your size requirement i recommend galaxy steinway d, piano in blue, Imperfect Samples Fazioli and alicia's keys.

    After lot of analysis,

    • Galaxy Steinway D or
    • EZKeys or
    • Live 9 Piano pack

    are top choice for me.

I almost forgot Tonehammer's Emotional Pianos got rave reviews and it's exactly the size you're looking for.

Because, quite frankly, screw your data limits:
