BTW the first Peace-out released is from 2008, 13 years old and not only 9.

Peace-out is their first team name.

Peace-out was renamed to Assign, then Assign got renamed to R2R, probably the members were not always the same during the whole period, but Peace-out = Assign = R2R as a team.

people are speculating that it will be cubase, well that might well be the case but im guessing it will be much more than that if they suggest a new 8tb hdd, maybe reason and some other stuff, we will have to wait and see, but for a 10000 release im sure it will be fun for some, cubase dont interest me in the slightest, dont want to learn a new DAW as i used ableton since version 7, reason might be of interest, aps avenger might be another and maybe a proper crack for nexus 3, exciting to think what this all means.

 

Acustica Audio plugins are soooo heavy, soooo many... and soooo GOOD.

Pro Tools - nope.
Cubase - not interested, use it before long time ago, would be nice to see the boys getting it though.
Reason 11/12 - this is awesome now that 30 days renew couldn't be done anymore. (7 days only now)
UVI - I don't know how any of these work, could be nice to get, especially the sampled instruments (8TB of them, lulz) maybe can finally try out Falcon
Softube - Empirical Labs stuff, Juno, Tape Echo, most likely this.
PA - Knifonium, Oberhausen and the Ameks
Acustica - need new harddisk if it happens
UAD - highly unlikely

Cherry Audio was on the list, but already bought 2 and getting another maybe next BF. It is hard if even at Cherry Audio rate one synth is equivalent to 390bucks of my country currency. almost half the minimum wage here.

East West, UVI product line would be awesome

 

Cubase is always mentionned because it was probably the peak point of the AIR team era : defeating the Cubase dongle and emulating it was a true achievement.
Today with VR "extended" Cubase Elements version, it's maybe not such a strong step to release a dongle emu, as we know that Steinberg is changing their way to protect their software in the near future.
Reason, Cherry audio and Softube could be really more interesting ...

 

So has the gong sounded yet?

 

I bet on 26 November, since 1st September passed in Asia.
R2R gives us time to purchase more HD space

i believe that it is meant to be released in 26 of November and NOT in 1st September as people believed. The description (NFO) mentioned 1st september only because it was the date that the announcement happened in asia while in europe and US it was still 31 of august.

 

Also i dont believe that the images were an extremely complicated puzzle as many believe...

1) The 8 tb HDD just meant that a big wave is coming, so get ready! We will need a lot of space of what is about to come
2) Savings meant that the release is going to be/include something expensive that would cost as a lot of money if we bought it
3) Black friday is the date of the release most probably
4) Share is obvious... everyone will get it. Free for all!
5) The last image is a hint that its not gonna be a single plugin but many...
