Well......personally, I tend to trash them. But, upon reflection, it occurred to me how many simply awful tracks
have become hits. So maybe I need to rethink things a bit.....LOL!!

The world doesn't need anymore mediocre music.

I trash the crap and do it quickly because imo it just ends up taking time away from the really good tunes.

    Focus on the diamonds.

Plenty of pop or edm songs are pretty bad, but with good production values.
And subjectively the best compositions ever written will probably not sound great when played with general midi fonts, so...
Anyway, a piece with crappy production value that can maintain musical interest in the listener will score better in the memory of the listener than a polished generic song.

    Definitely.
@user1293435134 But I'd also say you may want to keep them for future reference anyway. You never know.

there is no such thing as trash music , someone ,man or woman, wrote that track , thus at the time to someone that track was likeable , beyond that you just have taste in music , bias , emotion , current feelings...

there is no such thing as a bad music as and since for each the best music is what she or he enjoys to listen to...quote me

Sometimes you need to, working for video for a soundtrack sometimes the scene calls for The Bad.

Then yes, you want dissonant out of tune shit. And it's fun, everybody should try it!

I personally don't like putting things out there until i'm absolutely happy with the results, the problem is, due to that, i haven't released anything at all.

I don't mind though, i feel like with every try i get closer and it feels good, even if that means starting all over again, but i'm not really planning on putting my music out there ever. If you are, i'd say look for a point in between, like if it's not perfect but also not absolute trash, just go for it.

you have to change the way you think about it , when you are making music dont think about whether its bad or good think about it as a practice a form of self expression a thing you do to be happy just put it all out and try to finish it as fast as you can , then go into critical mode preferably in another day or after a break and start to judge what should stay and what has potential and what is trash and needs to go , the trick is to always finish a song and then analyze it , alot of skills is involved in finishing a song that most people cant develop because they never get to this point , when I analyze my favourite artists volume is 100% directly related to quality

I sometimes force myself to try to mix and master some "meh" tune of my own. By doing it I think I can hornet my skills a little more because you know.... learn to mix and master is super hard and that is the reason people hire fucking engenieers to polish their tracks. But I´m broke.

Do both as early as you can and you´ll certanly build self confidence in orther to release them or to show them to others. Nobody like good ideas that sound like shit, belive me. Unless you are loaded, in that case, focus on composition and paid others to mix and master like the rest of people with money out there.
