    Well, without even listening...

..is what the third video says! hehe
Considering you need a daw to be able to use sample packs, but your daw actually has all the instruments and tools already...uh...
So, I don't know why people just want to sound exactly the same as someone else. ie. sample pack hits etc...

I'm sure a sample pack person will chime in anyway with some choices for you.
I just couldn't believe your question re. genre. And them I'm sad people just want to sound the same as each other.
Plus, under all the YT vids in the dropdown there are links to Spotify which will tell you the genre anyway.

It's not about copy other people's ways to project music, it's about finding the sounds which belong to family heritage. A piano sound it'll always be a piano sound coming from a natural instrument, what changes it is the way you play it.
I agree with you, everybody sounds the same now, is convenient to follow the trend.
Still, I'm trying to do music people can recognize as familiar and add something to it that you wouldn't expect, it's like trying to communicate a message your own way while speaking the language everybody speaks.

I don't have 30 years of experience in music production and sound design, I'm still learning while developing my platforms as an artist, that's why I look for sample packs.
I still i do always tweak the sounds for my taste whatever it is inside the synth or with send effects.

With House that may often be a Korg M1 piano.
Cool. Love that talk! That is very much how I wish people would think!
Sorry to be so glum about it! Good luck.

If you can take the time to listen to these tracks with different genres to help me find a proper sample pack let me know, it's a mix of future house, melodic techno, deep house, tech house I think.
What I find as sample pack it sounds different and two specifics just to one lane and a bit underground, maybe there's one or two with different influence to pick up.

    Aww alright! lol
I can't talk; I used to make Electro-House schmaltz for Hed Kandi in the 00's! hehe.
And yeah; we used some one shots and stuff!
    <Turns on monitors...>
Not too up on sample pack companies but I'll try.

edit: :woot: Bangers. Of. Fire. May be a while.
First thing I notice on the first track is there is a lot of top end rolled off of the kick, which is slightly lofi sounding.
And there is a specific House sub genre for that, but I can't think what it is right now.
On second track now. Pretty sure both tracks so far have 2 bass sounds layered. Pretty standard though.
A toppy one and a more subby one.

Okay. Got to the Future House/Deep House one now.
This is very generic and samey and will be short lived imo.
I can't really hack listening to it now, sorry!

All of this I would do without sample packs myself.
I'll have a quick scout around for any relevant packs, but I hope someone else can chime in for you in the meantime.
It's not currently something I'm up on.

Make sure to use your MPC groove templates for all this stuff.
Can chat about groove in PM if you want, but there was a great thread where we spoke about groove quantization, and people stated their preferred groove % for various House.
Not sure where that is though!

How long have you been producing music? I wish could have the ability to produce everything without sample packs etc

Well yeah. We didn't have sample packs in the 80s! If I was born now I'd probably use them!
Exactly. Session keys with #1 Sony artist at 18; now 48.
I did start collecting some nice kick drum one shots from various DECiBELLE releases for a few months last year.
But I found I like to compress them myself from the source really.
They are quite useful I guess though, as they've usually been treated quite well with eq and comp.

There are way better mix and mastering engineers than me here though.
Our mod No Avenger being one whose skills I have much respect for.
