Anyone know how to make this sound.
Sounds is at zero seconds. Kind of an eighties sound.

 

It's an electronic kick drum. And very non-80s.
And there is an effected cymbal/noise with it.

 

I'm talking about the synth sound, not the kick drum or the cymbal noise. It starts at 0.5 seconds.

Right. The top line. Mono-synth. With delay.
Quite sine wavey but slightly smooth saw or something.
Surely you have a synth plugin with a preset like that.

Was so confused when I clicked on your track, was ready to give it a shot but then it was a totally other track that I don't remember because your's is way more dance floor oriented. Apparently It thought the remix was the original and never checked until now.

 

here's what I made using Serum for fun. not close at all I think.

EDIT: maybe tweak the envelope a bit to get more pluckier like in the video, but the basic idea is LFO on the fine tune.

Hi , thanks for that tutorial Roberto. That sounds perfect. I thought the synth sound seemed simple enough but it also had a special quality to it and I didn't know how to make it.

 

Thanks for all the responses on the thread, I couldn't open the serum file made by Stevie because my serum is an older version.

 

This reminds me so much of Aphex Twin and the lead (below). I went on forums back in late 90's and asked the same question. I also learned about sine LFO on pitch (vibrato) then. Great flashbacks!
