Apparently, Boz Millar (Boz Digital Labs,) may be teaming up with the mastering service Analog Mastering, and as they're a newer company, they're promoting themselves with a Limited Time Offer of one absolutely free master, no billing info or account needed.
Analog Mastering isn't an AI mastering service, either, for those of you opposed to allowing Skynet to master your music.
Check out their site; the offer looks legit.

I don't remember saying that they were a charity service, just that they were giving people a free trial of their services.
Either way, $50/per is a steal for mastering services, and if they're asking you to compare their results with others, that shows that they have confidence in their ability to produce some solid results.

Nobody said either! It is a company, and a company has to pay the wages of its employees.
The competition is fierce, you can only win new customers if you offer very good quality and are cheaper than the competition.
If you do a good job and are cheap, the company is sure to be successful.

Strange logic. It means nothing.
I suppose if they had asked us not to compare, then maybe alarm signals may have sounded too.
edit: their master does sound better than the other two though! lol.

Specifically, the company is called 'AnalogMastering', so it is only implied it may be analogue.
So what you said could be possible I guess.
edit: Okay, so it does actually say they are using "modern analog equipment".

Overlooking the obvious, additional avenue, which is that they don't mention comparing their services with others, at all.
Countless companies begin and end with boasting their services/products (analogue, or otherwise,) ignoring buyers' alternatives.

One of the services I provide on my site is Mastering, and I can tell you from experience that if you offer free mastering you're going to invite mostly clients that don't see the value in it, and will more than likely provide you with 'headache' mixes that need to be remixed, not Mastered.

At this point, I don't work for any less than $50 a song/track. I will provide a free example (partial song), that's just part of the job - but no freebies. This company mentioned above could be outsourcing these masters for all you know. This is merely a publicity stunt done as a marketing tool. I don't see Abbey Road offering free masters.

Your best bet is to find someone you already have a rapport with that maybe can recommend someone, or a local engineer that you can build a musical relationship with - while also supporting your local music community.

A lot of times you're paying for a separate set of experienced ears and not analog vs digital.
