It's hard for me to come to terms with people not knowing what "Copyleft" is. I feel so fucking old and I'm not even 30.

 

Well I am older than you are, but I am in dark so I kindly ask you to enlighten others and myself, since English is not a native language of most ppl here and there, so we don't know the slang or whatever...

 

In legal terms, "Copyleft" means "Free for any use" with the requirement that any derivetive work would also be copyleft.
In warez culture, where the term originated, "Copyleft" means "Relieved of copy protection", basically.
It's a pun. Copyright - Copyleft.
Also it's mostly an Eastern-European thing.
