I work on PC Win7 64 bit.
Which version of Kontakt you recommend - now I have 5.0.2 and in most recent libraries I have messages either "This patch was generated on newer version of application" or "This patch is encrypted and can not be loaded unless regostered properly".
I read the most recent version is 5.30 - but is is reliable and stable or maybe go for 5.2.1 ?
I tried the procedures with registry key delete - add (Hkey_... etc) but no results.
Or maybe there is other solution to that problem?

Go for 5.3 It works fine! You can use Registry Mechanic.. works like a dream

Ok, I went for 5.2.1 since it was sure release and easy to install - I am not computer man, and installation of 5.3 was not clear for me
Anyway, there is a big improvement, many libraries that did not work before - now are working fine.
However there are still some libraries (eg. Albion 1) where I get this message about encrypted patch etc. - tried all the tricks with deleting Hkeys, still nothing.
Well, I guess I have to live with it, unless you have any idea how to overcome that issue with few libraries.

Ahhhh .... h3LL with it !! USE ALL OF THEM !!!

I use and own ; Ver 2.2.3 / 4.2.4 / 5.01 - (which sux turtle turdz !!!)

But Im most fond of V2.2.3 ; Its simple , its fast , you get to go right to werk,
without all the bullcrap , '16-gig of memory needed , waiting for a nki file to load !!'

Plus , if ya need to ; (As I do while & when Im building kontakt format).
You can have ALL THREE of these kontakt engines up and running at the same time!!
With no midi conflict , nor troubles dumping scripting, midi cc or keyswitches
from one verson to the other !!!!

If ya gotta pick one , pick kontakt v4.2.3 or 4 . Its stable , Its got great sound!!!
