Hello all

I recently upgraded to Kontakt 5.3.0 and came across a problem where all my libraries are running in demo mode.

The player installed smoothly... and in standalone mode I don't see the demo/activate error.

It's only when I use it in logic 9, there I see demo activation error.

I seem to experience the same problem with Cubase.
Standalone works fine, however in Cubase libraries are in demo mode...

 

It's really annoying...have tried everythng possible that I know...

 

Which release you used to upgrade? There are several available for MAC and PC.

 

I with lukehh,which release? R2R or the other one buy a newcomer? I'm on PC and I haven't upgraded yet so let me know which one not to use please!

Hi guys, I am using Cubase v.7.0.6 on OSX 10.8.5 and the release is Kontakt 5.3.0 by edami. Again the standalone works fine in 64bit but when in Cubase I get the libraries in demo mode..

 

I'm using logic 9 , OSX 10.8.5 , cracked by Edami.

 

I'm going to try to get you guys a reliable Mac member that could possibly give you better advice since they have experience with this particular release, I'm a PC.
In the meantime I will also see if I can't dig up some info.

 

Hey guys,
you need to copy the newly installed kontakt.dll's (32 or 64 bit from the main install directory) to your vst plugins dir manually.
I don't now why the installer doesn't update the dll's in your vst dir automatically.
Haven't updated yet myself, but I had that issue in previous updates.
I hope that'll fix your problems.

Thanks for your reply, however concerning the .dll this is on mac... I'm not sure but i think this is to do with updating the Service Center as previous releases specified that it has to be updated to the latest version. Now I dont think that it would be a wise option updating this automatically online... Any further ideas?
