Some recommendation of some effect that shows the song must be some delay with some reverb but the sound as out of tune I do not know how to get there, any recommendation is helpful

 

load up a chorus and see if there is a detune knob on it! any should do, play around with the settings and you'll get there!

 

yea chorus plugin or kiloheartz ensemble should do the trick then a bit of short ping pong delay

 

ANY decent delay with modulation will do it

Start with SuperMassive and push MOD Depth

 

He's playing inharmonically as you already know. You have to find chords and progressions that sound out of tune but also decent together. BM & DM are very good at gelling chaotic sounds together in a way that makes you like and sometimes prefer them.

That's half the sound, the rest of it is you figuring out which delays and reverbs sound best with it. You can try chorus and tape effects that detune your signal in and out but that still sounds different than what's happening in Xasthurs track.

I saw a documentary where Xasthur had 8 track recorders and outboard fx so he's probably using those.
