had this VST effect while back, it looked pretty much like this

had two or three frequency knobs, and it kinda kept it all going in cycles. the sounds f.e. ended up high and blended back from below. like a mad phaser good for layering on swoops and airy stuff.

i have looked through the internetz but no luck so far

Echobode seems like it could have been it, although I do clearly remember much more "whirlwind" action and the "loop" after 100+ feedback was not static, but everevolving. I feel like it could have been an even more complex effect.

    Could be it, though :D

I remember how one of the things that attracted me to the OP-1 was the CWO effect, and wouldn't you know, it's literally Echobode (except with only 4 Macro Controls) made by the same guy.

ollie larkin made a simple set of endless effects once, but i dont think they ever went to 64 bit.

Slightly off-topic, but a couple of FX can pull off Shepard Tones, a type of endless audio illusion of sound going forever up or down.

My favourite is iZotope's Möbius Filter.

i´ve tried it ith all possible kind of effects with shepard stuff - and i dont think that it is very interesting with a frequency shifter. at least not with more than 2 or 3 stages at the same time.^^

plus, digitally, you can hardly sum two different frequency shifted signals, due to the way they are made, you will end up with phase cancellations.
