Hi everybody, can anyone recommend plugins with functions similar to Venom?
Note: Venom work is first capturing and storing the snapshots of the incoming sound, and then applyin 7 individual FXs (Focus, Feaze, Decay, Damping, Mirror, Pitch & Slope) to the signal while creating a feedback, e.g a continuous reverb tail.
Maybe Audiority XenoVerb?

A couple of us definitely mentioned downloading InstaScale and InstaChord. They're rubbish. Go get yourself a copy of Scaler instead. It has much more functionality, is much easier to use and is still uploaded to good warez sites everywhere.

 

There's one fact. If you ever played this and there's both boys and girls we boys soon give up and jump shamelessly over the bar.
Because girls are more flexible.

yeah. he really has not the slightest clue about DSP and just wraps nice GUI around his stuff.

i have to admit that i compared apples with bananas here, because his are donationware i.e. free. (i am not judging him, but i would be ashamed to receive 5000 dollar monthly donations for that kind of "code".)

there used to be so great free plugins around, from people who are really innovative... i guess that decade is over now.

 

i guess it is pure FFT, so maybe michael norris? no GUI, though.

 

The comparison is totally legit, because AObsession plugins were commercial until a year ago roughly.
But since, you know, people realized they were crap, the guy now has to give them away for free

That's why I said WAProduction smells to me like the next AObsession.

 

Tbf instascale and instachord look to be sort of useful. I haven't heard many talking about babylon but it can't be that bad. Still there are too many free plugins or ones that come with your host already that you don't really need them that much whether you're a beginner or not.

 

Soundmagic Spectral is an awesome spectral-glitch-granular suite, but it's only for Mac OS X 10.6 or later

W.A. is a typical viral/clone-type developer. They produced some primitive basic cores, never to improve them, and now they combine them endlessly with fancy murky descriptions and fancy GUIs. They try to make money on quantity, great 'choice', and 'novelty', everything but quality. And they are happy, because kids buy it.
