Synth vocoder via usb

    Hi. Are there any hardware synth with built in vocoder (microkorg, mininova) that transmit audio/vocoder over USB?

    unless something has changed, the Virus TI is the only hardware synth that can send Audio directly via USB.

    Novation x-station sends audio as well. But I am interested in transmitting vocoder over USB.

    right, because of it's "audio interface" type of functionality. How you phrased your question, states that you want audio output leaving the synth via USB; it will greatly limit the number of your options.

    Would the Roland JD-XI qualify?

    Novation Ultranova has got the audio over usb and sends everything via usb. Mininova doesn’t have it.
