    My suggestions would be:

BEFORE BUYing the motherboard please look around and search for the exact same model on the internet.
Because some motherboards disable CPU lanes which means if you have like 2 m2 ssd slots you might not be able to use the secondary m2 slot if your graphics card plus another device takes two PCI express lanes

I bought a prebuilt system and after like 3 months of tweaking finally it runs just the way I wanted to run it
My build is an overkill for music production that's my quick overview after tweaking a lot of things:

Ok the problems I ran into were:
No matter which jack I used on the case my new headsets mic was not working anymore it is a combined one plug I have another shitty headset which is uncomfortable and has a bad built in mic for some reason that ones mic is working...
So be aware going with Realtek HD audio motherboards because your headset mic will not work so I had to buy like a usb streamer mic which is freakin awesome (Sudotack ST800) for only 40 GBP on amazon well worth it if you want to sing or rap or just stream or podcast it sounds professional.
Out of the box I had no idea that I can control the colors through the RGB Fusion software which I found out later that it is existing...
I updated my bios to the latest without any issues so do not worry about crashing your machine anyone can update the bios these days.
The only thing I would not recommend is to use the Precision Boost overdrive in the bios.
I saw the youtube video that it is "absolutely worth it" I will tell you no it is not...
When I enabled PBO2 on my Ryzen 5600x with the max settings my machine was not even able to boot into bios.
I was freakin out like hell oh man I broke my brand new PC...than after hours of researching my problem solved by
turning off and disconnecting the power supply for like 20 minutes and removing the small circle battery from the motherboard
And my whole bios tweaks reset to default and everything was back to normal.
Take in consideration that it is going to be a huge pain in the ass buying a new PC than set it up and tweak to its best performance.
Another huge plus with my build is: my 5600x low latency is so good with ASIO4all I dont even need an audio interface (because I dont use any guitars or real instruments to plug in and record)
I would say do not go for RTX 3070 a 3060 is already an overkill plus it uses less power so your electricity bill will not be skyrocketing.
Yep and here to mention to use the Windows 10 power plan setting all the time switching between power saver and balanced performance.
Because when you are just web browsing or watching movies you should switch to poer saver mode which limits your processor to 1.7 GHz so it is not going to run at full speed for no reason (using more power and spinning your cooling system for no reason etc.)
So only if you are gaming or you want to start making music using heavy synths and effects than you should go back to Balanced or High performance power plan.

https://www.bequiet.com/en/case/silent-base/772 (These case are lined to help noise and come with quiet fans preinstalled)
    https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...ply-Units-Advanced/RMx-Series/p/CP-9020179-NA
SK hynix Gold P31 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 2280 Internal SSD - up to 3500MB/s .....or Samsung EVO 970
2TB Samsung EVO 870 adding additional HD as and when required...

I only ever use Intel Chipset and some are better than others... I'm not 100% up to play on which recent motherboards are killing it in this area (anyone?)!

For CPU i'd go higher frequency over number of cores, 16 or 32gb memory i usually go for GSkill (can always add more...
Silent Base cases come with 3 fans included and very rarely does the fan ever spin on the PSU
I use a single slot NVIDEA Quadra which free's up some space (i'm not gaming on the DAW box)

I'm guessing this budget doesn't include any soundcard or monitor screen!?!?

EDIT: I wrote this reply just after the question was posted, but someone came over and I didn't hit 'ENTER' .. some great replies already, i'm looking to upgrade my board, cpu and ram again at some point - Thz :)

er precision boost overide is fine if your pc is cooled well im using it on my 5960x just dont set it to max and tweak the voltage and ccps so there stable on a stress test. rocking all 16 cores on boost at 5.1 to 5.2 now

No, as I already have those. Recently bought a Dell 2721DGFA that I'm quite content with and I still have my Focusrite Scarlett Interface.

I have more money to spend than 1300€ overall, but for some reason I just arbitrarily decided that 1300€ would be a price range I'm content with. Maybe because the last PC I built (a gaming PC in 2014) had an 800€ budget and this would be 500€ more 7 years later which should be a significant CPU performance boost. This 1300€ build also doesn't even include the GPU I may or may not buy some years down the line, so the budget is 1300€ for CPU, Mainboard, SSD, Power Supply, RAM, Case and Fans (did I forget something?) and it's one of the reasons I went with one of the new AMD APUs with Integrated Graphics. I expect that I'll have to wait a couple of years before I'll be able to buy a GPU at a reasonable price.

RAM: DDR4 RAM prices are falling thanks to well-stocked warehouses

16 GByte DDR4-3200 from just under 70 euros, 32 GByte from just under 130 euros: Memory manufacturers have high stocks and are therefore lowering prices. The memory market has broken through the almost year-long upward trend in prices. By June 2021, DDR4 RAM kits in this country had reached the highest price level in recent years, and the cost of popular kits has fallen significantly since then. For example, 16 GB with clock frequencies of 1600 MHz (DDR4-3200) currently no longer cost 70 euros; 32 GByte DDR4-3200 are available from just under 130 euros. A few months ago the prices were at least 85 or 160 euros. Trendforce's market research team writes in a report that the market is saturated after a long period of memory shortage. According to this, manufacturers of RAM modules stocked up well with SDRAM modules in the summer and now they have full stocks.

yeah or get 2 HDD 4TB or smth running at RAID 1 and if 1 of the drive die, your data can still be fine and you can get another 4TB drive and rebuild the RAID later

problem with RAIDs is, once you replace a faulty drive, array rebuild kicks in and often another drive(s) can start failing and you immediately start loosing ALL data

dont get me, wrong but why does one need tones of gigabytes/terabytes of storage internal?

i live with 256GB SSD + 120GB external. Samples Folder is slim 20GB (compressed it, saves a few GB), a few VSTs makes another 2GB.
Omnisphere+Trilian can run from external SSD via USB3, fast enough and can be plugged, when needed for a project.

Isnt it better to just buy external HDDs, which one oculd plug-in, when something is needed from there?

Hard drives can break - it's better to save the most important data on BluRay.
Large hard drives are great storage for large files such as Movies, Videos, Pictures and Music!

A very good tool for hard disk monitoring is the free "CrystalDisc". https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/
Before the hard disk dies, you can transfer the data to a new hard disk in good time.

The processor you're going with is good for music production. But when it comes to the motherboard, I think you should opt for an X570 chipset either from MSI or from ASUS. This is the only thing in my opinion needed to be replaced in your PC build for music production. Since, you have 300€ more budget to play around, I recommend you add a decent graphics card for next-level performance.

I'd just focus on finding the processor that's the fastest within my budget (you can clearly see when prices get stupid), check the DAW I use for how it works with threading, and build around that. It's not for everyone, and you need to be pretty technically crazy, but I'd be building a Linux machine (thanks to YaBridge) so most of the money can go into the hardware. I spent maybe a grand on my system like 8 years ago with that philosophy and it still feels 'contemporary'

as long as you know how to utilize your system resources you can make music in any potato
i used to make huge 60 , 70 track orchestral music in a laptop ( i3 gen 10 , 12 gigs of ram , 500 GB ssd and 1 TB hdd ) this worked perfectly though i switched to a i7 system a few months ago that's because i was also editing videos so yes your system is plenty powerful

just know if you are using a lot of sample libraries ram and high speed ssds' are important but if you are using a lot of synths cpu is important

this how i was able to use my laptop for more than a year because those 60 or more track were either or totally sample libraries

and also features like Realtime rendering , rendering in place , sample purges , freezing tracks , high buffer rates offline renders and many more features in Cubase/Nuendo came in handy

so yes resources management is really important
