also it was made on a c2d comp with 2gb ram and some more sh*t things i don't want to talk about. (used that pc for a decade. let's not talk about that)

 

Really like the intro part, and the line coming in. The swells could be lowered a tad to give more ambience.
The snare at 0:57 is way too over powering though.

The thing I'm working on now sounds like an ass, but hopefully it'll come together at some stage today. Keep at it

 

I'm on a crappy laptop, even forgot my headphones, I can't monitor properly, and I don't know this genre much, so judging is difficult.
I also like the intro very much, got a few cheers while listening, hopefull intro but with a tad melancoly on top.
I think you're good until 2:09, probably when the beat should go in another direction, well I'm not sure I can't really hear the lead on my setup, its drawn by the drums.
It's a beat worth salvaging and working on imho, you evolved in three years, sometimes it's very positive to go back on a suspended beat after a long while. That's when you're able to take it somewhere else.
I listened three times, cause I like it. Didn't feel like wasted time at all. Keep at it man.

 

Yes you picked the exact same word as I named it. in the pattern. swells. I will lower them. and also try to add some more ambience if that is needed or also try some buildup drum loops. and add some sweeps and stuff as usual.

Can't access this beat that you made one entire year after indian did his. It says I need authorization or whatever, could you post it in an accesssible format, where we can read it without weird requests ?Had to remove all my ad blockers, I never have to. Even then it doesn't work.

You could also try to lower the first note a lot.
First snare is a bit too loud, second too loud.
Most synths are too far in the background.
Whole track is too mono.
All just mix issues, the composition is ok.

 

i actually liked it ,its missing the keys that can lift up the tracks
the finger click fx kinda nice and cool (but it should have been in the beginning only then things picks up from there in my opinion)
pads are great ,no matter how you play it ,it capture anyone with good musical ears out there

and heres my advice
when you do a project like this ,make few versions,different drums/different style
one of those versions will become your next hit (opps i have to say it because i use nexus 3 now hehehe)

seriously enough ,its nice fun listen (no wasted time here either and making tracks on pc doesnt mean you are bad in making music
as i prefer this demo project over any song from rihannas and justin BEAVERS MTV crap they are shoving down our throats for the last 20 years
and they have full gear/pro studio engineers with them but fail to produce a ''classic song''
so i support any bedroom producer out there

its been like 25 years now the US market cant(and will never) produce good songs based on listening only
there should be a clickbait music videos that can make those A list singers relevant in the business and spend money
to make the shitty video as cool cinamatic filmography (but with crappy music)

(and as for B-Z list singers are the ones who copy each other style and therefore there will be no music evolution for them
as you wont see no good music videos nor hear good music ,even the background girls dance in weird moves (revolution my ass)

the 'top artists '' of music industury are focusing on shooting more sexual content and despicable act/bad influencing moves
targeted to the ones sitting at home waiting for new entries and expect something cool
but instead gets 24 hours of repeated crap from the same producers who just cash in with similar hiphop song
regardless on how bad the music is been produced ,they just keep on reproducing same crap with more crappy videos

these type of artists are competing for 'most disgusting music videos ever produced instead of improving their own music
and its mind boggling to see young people and teenagers pissing in their pants over new songs and go emotional cry over it
as it remind them of how happy moments (just because they heard similar beat and thats whats important for them similar beats
and they goe on praising and reviewing the crappy music as it its next big thing without even analyzing the music itself

nah boss,I am not working continuously. it's just an older track which I found luckily and then change few things here and there. not working on it since 2019. and might not work on it for a bit more I guess.
