Hey folks it's Catalyst here with a summary of some of the submissions that we've received for the AudioSexed Album so far. I have to say that we have some fucking talented people here and some really impressive submissions so far and I'm still awaiting for some other folks to drop in with their track too which I am looking forward to listening to or in some cases relistening to. Members please make sure to take out a little time to give any helpful insight to aid them in getting their tracks done and polished in time. I've gone through the task of linking to the page for their song for this purpose. Also keep in mind what I just said, some of them may not be polished yet so if your constructive criticism is saying it sucks, don't bother. It's okay not to like a song or some element in it but saying it sucks doesn't help someone improve and makes them not want to share their music in the future which I just won't stand for. Have a little respect for our artists and friends. Finally if I've left anyone out please let me know and I will include your post too, I ran some searches but might have missed a few tracks (probably because you didn't follow the naming rules), this was not intentional. I actually was thinking about collecting the tracks we have so far today but you've done the honours.

I completely agree with everything Catalyst has mentioned in his OP. I'd also like to add a few things so...

PLEASE READ!!!!

1. All tracks must be SUBMITTED AS 24 bit .wav I've already mentioned this in the guidlines. It is a little shameful that people aren't still aware of the rules yet still post a track.

2. PLEASE MAKE YOUR TRACK DOWNLOADABLE OFF SOUNDCLOUD ONCE IT IS COMPLETELY FINISHED! How else am I supposed to compile it for the album?

3. YOU'RE TRACK NEEDS TO HAVE A FINISHED MIX AND MASTER!!! If you cannot Mix your track, unfortunately it is just not good enough...I know I sound a little harsh, but really c'man... do I really need to explain why?

If you cannot MASTER you're track that is fine...but please be aware that those people who have a finished MASTER will be the ones considered for the album FIRST!!!

NO MASTER, NO GETTING ON THE ALBUM...MASTERING IS AN IMPORTANT STANDARD WHICH SHOULD BE ABIDED BY ALL. IF YOU CAN'T DO IT YOURSELF...THERE ARE PEOPLE ON THE FORUMS HERE WHO MAY BE ABLE TO HELP YOU.

Just hit me a pm if you need help with your track mastered...but I'm a bit of a harsh one...I need you to give me a solid mix first...

IF YOU HAVEN'T READ OR STILL AREN'T AWARE OF THE GUIDLINES PLEASE GO TO THE OFFICIAL AUDIOSEXED ALBUM THREAD AND READ THEM...I WROTE THEM FOR A REASON...TO BE FOLLOWED AND IF YOU CAN'T FOLLOW THEM COMPLETELY, THEN IT LOWERS MY CONFIDENCE AND FAITH ABOUT HOW GOOD THIS ALBUM IS GOING TO BE. I've also been reminding everyone and even going around to artists and telling them about the album in case they missed the announcement. Frito will for sure submit and BoyLearnsArcane is working on something as we speak. Both will be amazing no doubt.

HK thanks so much for the kind words bro. I figured it's the least I could do for all the artists that made the music that I have been enjoying and I know everyone worked really hard so I wanted to make it easy on them. Since you're one of those people I thought it would be better if I took care of it, you and all the others that helped did such a great job putting all this together so it was really my pleasure. I can't wait to hear what our other members are going to submit.

 

BoyLearnsArcane's track is in and it's great and already added to the list along with our friend Kyle (who is 16 years old ). Let's keep that energy going, I want to hear more. You guys have a while until the deadline but I want you all to have time to get some creative input if you need it. Stellar work everyone, I've been enjoying your tracks all day.

So I noticed there's two "Army of Ninjas" tracks up there, does that mean it's cool to submit multiple tracks? I looked for an answer in the official thread but couldn't see anything..

You can post more than one track if you made multiple tracks and are not sure which one you want to put, but only one will be accepted. For Army of Ninjas, we decided his track Crush will go into the album...

Also remember, the track has to be something new that you made rather than something you've pulled out from your library...

Army of Ninja's tracks were really good and it's actually hard for me to choose because I also like (K)atana (a lot). Maybe on a bonus track version of the album or something? Seems almost wrong to leave that song off.

And I'm really feeling the dark content I've been hearing. Glad to know it will be fittingly represented.

Members please don't just listen but follow the links and let our artists know what you think of their track, maybe even give a little constructive criticism.

 

Will be submitting a track soon, just been so busy, what do you guys think I should add to this wonderful album? Something progressive? deep?, mainroom? electro? I have so many projects I don't know which one to choose. Maybe you guys can just have a listen to all my songs and pick one?

Hey Fuad, a bunch of great work on there, it all sounds very good. I would personally vote for 'Together', that track made me feel like dancing and I'm not even into house. Cool arrangement with nice variety and a lot of sweet and fat sounds.
Or maybe 'Run Away' cause it has those really good vocals and that's something we don't have yet. BTW, who is that Coco? That's just the kind of powerful voice I could use on the track I'm trying to put together.
