its safe to say i wont upgrade win 10 to 11 until software companies/plugins/games acknowledge win 11

    hey "Stevie Dude",
could you do me a great favour and download Latency Monitor and run it at least 5 minutes on the new WIN 11 install?
here is the link to it:
    https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
pls post a screenshot of the result!

    here the direct download link:
    https://www.resplendence.com/download/LatencyMon.exe

its a free tool to find out problems with Win Drivers and Hardware (huge Lagspikes usually from LANdrivers, Graphicscards or USB).

I am happy about the new environmental improvements:

    Made from better materials
    - 100% recycled aluminum in the housing
    - 100% recycled tin for the solder in the motherboard
    - 35% or more recycled plastic in multiple components

    Energy efficient
    - ENERGY STAR® certification6

    Smarter chemistry 7
    - Mercury free
    - Free from bromine-containing flame retardants, PVC and beryllium

    Environmentally friendly production
    - Apple's Zero Waste Program helps suppliers avoid creating waste that ends up in landfills
    - All of the supplier's final manufacturing facilities are converting to 100% renewable energy for Apple manufacturing

    Responsible packaging
    - 100% of the fresh wood fibers come from responsibly managed forests
    - Recyclable packaging, mostly made of fibers

@Jazz-N-Stuff sure, here's the result after 5 minutes. Is it bad ? I don't know what these numbers mean. Can you please share your systems reading, just want to compare.

Typical nvidia driver issue on your end, otherwise looks like a stable system, but trust me after installing a few programs and drivers this will be a very different story, have you tried tightening your ram timings?

I rely on my machine for heavy duty work, so i took the time to optimize it from the bios up, from cpu overclocking to ram timings, to getting cpu ring at a very high speed, i used to have a little bit more stable latencies but not sure which windows update f%cked that up...

from what i hear from windows 11, it is far more optimized than Windows 10 plus it consumes in some cases up to 10% less cpu power, i have installed the early beta, which seemed nice, i'll be waiting for the final release to do a clean install on a new nvme drive just to make sure everything is up to my specs.

Can you tell me why the "ISR" tested 3 different sys? How should one interpret that?

    Test result "ISR" User - 1 = dxgkrnl.sys /// User Stevie Dude
    Test result "ISR" User - 2 = storport.sys /// User BEAT16
    Test result "ISR" User - 3 = USBPORT.sys // User MrLyannMusic

I am by no mean qualified to answer that, not sure why would you think that's the case, it's Just that i put in the time and energy to actually track down any possible route to extract every possible Last bit of power out of my hardware, keeping my system and its drivers up to date actually helps alot...

A lot of die-hard Mac users have given up on Apple with all the new updates. A lot of developers likewise.

I'm not interested in Windows 11. I don't need it and don't want ANYTHING to do with Microsoft or Bill Gates. I'm busy moving everything to Linux.

"Microsoft won’t be allowing users to bypass the hardware requirements of Windows 11 (at release), as certain enthusiasts have demonstrated with the beta. This means that machines with less than 4GB of memory and TPM 2.0 hardware encryption won’t be able to run the new OS. Users running processors that don’t meet Microsoft’s requirements won’t be able to install Windows 11 either."

(until it gets hacked/bypassed again ofc..)

The sense and purpose of which Microsoft measures is to protect the economy from hacking and thus from financial loss.

It has been shared that OEM would have a modified version where these requirements won't be needed, and sure enough a bypassed version would be available later on, i'm worried about when after Windows is actually installed, i hope there won't be any issues with updates or features being disabled because of bypassed requirements...
