    Ursa DSP - Boost

Because I'm unable to finish a track, so I never make it to the mastering stage, so I have no idea how to use those plugins. However, Dan Worall made a video praising Boost, so I blindly follow him.

You forgot Sonnox Oxford Inflator, which beats all of these by a long shot. Then again it isn't free on our sister site, so makes sense why you haven't tried it.

I've heard some statements that Sonnox Inflator is apparently just a wave shaper

And apparently you can cancel it out with phase flipping by using a wave shaper.

Although there's still some people who claim there's some more 'magic' to it.

it really depends on the use case and what needs to be done
Ozone and Pro-L are in my opinion the best go to options
But there are a few others that I sometimes like use (And to A/B the results between them)

Most of the good mastering engineers I have encountered choose a mix of their choice of outboard hardware and digital plugins that give them full manual control over everything. If the plugin has automation features they cannot override, they seem to bypass them altogether.
No two mastering engineers have an identical preference of all hardware and software though they do appear to have a similar mindset. Which makes comparisons for them, a moot point. Sure some similar choices, but never identical. Just an observation.
