This is about my marriage current state. many of you might know some might not, but me and my wife are currently separated and she is showing no signs of a changed mind...i thought id share.




I am forced to captain this sinking ship alone, until her hull crashes into the cold ocean floor.
Willingly holding my breath even after hope of surfacing her surpasses all logic. Steadfast I raise sails as she takes on the damage of the punishing sea. This ship is my life, beyond it only lies false creeds of sailors and empty promise of prosper. My faith in my broken vessel is definite, my investment? infinite. The nights are endless In the empty decks, the days linger with no sign of shore. Do not seek to aid me,for the damage is of my own fault, my crew, Disbanded due to lost hope...self inflicted mutiny. Despair haunts my cabin. My desperate search to find them and repay my debt may never end. Without them my ship is surly doomed to the depths taking me with her.I am alone,I am tired, but I will remain I will find hope...I am constant.

 

Hang in there, kiddo. I've gone through some bad break-ups and life sure seems like total crap sometimes.

Robbie I am sorry to hear that things aren't working out with your wife at the moment but this doesn't necessarily mean they won't work out and even if they don't it doesn't mean things can't work out for you. I'm really good with women and I can tell you from personal experience that they like to make it seem like reconciliation is impossible so that you learn your lesson and make some changes before they take you back. There's no guarantee that this is what will happen but stop reacting and start acting. I'm glad that you're finding some creative outlet for your feelings about the situation. Do what I suggested to you in my last post in the other thread. My suggestion is keep the focus on you and your child, that is the most important thing. If she's a woman of substance and she sees the changes you've made, she will take you back. If not then who needs her anyway?

 

i agree i think she will come back eventually i must prove myself to her first and maybe over again after that. and i need her *yes*

 

Hey Robbie, very sorry to hear of your situation, no matter the cause it is always painful to watch something you care about being damaged, I sincerely hope that things will turn around for you. And I must say how impressed and taken off guard I am by how robust and encouraging this community is. Anywhere else I would expect to see trolling, but all I have seen here is support and understanding. It's nice to know that our collective love for music has allowed something much deeper to flourish...

These are lyrics to a song I wrote while going through a somewhat similar situation. Believe me, you are not alone in your experience and you will pull through it one way or another.

 

Just stay grounded and you'll be ok even if she doesn't come back. Hope it all comes through for you in the end, mate.
