Can someone indicate a plugin that is easy to skin, ie .png images?
I would like to try and give it a shot in skining/designing gui. I already made a theme for reaper but i would like to give it a go with a smaller size project!

 

kontakt. but only makes sense for custom instruments i guess. you can import backgrounds or design knobs and everything, pretty creative and ppl sharing stuff you can use.

 

There's a couple companies that offer official skinning capabilities. Off the top of my head I remember MeldaProduction.

 

i don't know anything about GUI design, but if i did, i'd probably tackle airwindows plugins since they don't have native skins. one could start from scratch.

Blue Cat's plugins like MB-5 can use personalized Skins,
but I never seen other than the stock..

Another option is Reaper, you can make fully personalized Themes,
but you'll have to learn their Walter code which beyond a basic level is very strange..

afaik Analog Obsession plugins have their skins available as .png files when you open them via a tool like Resource Hacker.
Customized AO Rare myself because I didn't like the large bpb branding, worked out really well and was pretty easy.

 

i would advise surge. its open source, and they made a skinning tutorial. and, btw, that plugin needs an eye-friendly skin, imho.
