I just found a plugin, Dear VR. I think it is the same as volume adjustment, panning, and reverb.
Has anybody found any other advantage using this plugin?

The DearVR series is intended for 3D audio production, depending on which product you're using https://www.dear-reality.com/collections/all . Unless you select "2.0 stereo", it might add coloring to the sound for headphone positioning, which may or may not be desireable.

If you just work with stereo output in mind, indeed it is like you said, with an easy interface, and a good result that you could get with some reverb/panning/volume automation, but not as fast.
If you work with more than stereo output, like 5.1 or even as high as 7.1.4 (and a lot of other configurations possible), it's even better, it's very visual for placement, and sounds great. Sure there is always a way to work without it and having the same result, but it's a lot easier & quicker with this plugin

It's not just that, but also subtle EQing and stereo enhancement :bleh:
Jokes aside, its reverb takes positioning into account, it utilizes Haas effect and proximity effects to create a sense of distance and direction, and all of this is automatic.
Sure you can achieve the same results with just your stock plugins and a sensible know-how, but it saves the hassle. Especially if you plan to automate the positioning.

Oh, I didn't realize it also provides the enhancement. Thx!

By stereo enhamcement I meant the aforementioned Haas effect. It's a slight delay between left and right ear that happens when a sound wave reaches our head from the side.
There's also separate EQing for left and right channel that accounts for distance and high frequency dampening by our head.
The best way to describe dearVR is this: A psychoacoustic panner with built-in reverb.

If you're not doing surround, VR, headphone, etc 3D production, I'd suggest https://www.auburnsounds.com/products/Panagement.html instead, which is for 2.0 speakers only.
