Can't hear my automation or volume change within Studio One [solved]

    Hi everyone,

    I'm sure this is just a minor n00b error but I'm struggling with this.
    When I change the volume on one of my tracks or segments, I cannot hear the change when playing it.

    Is there a setting which I have to switch on in order to hear the automation?

    Check what automation mode is selected, "Read" is the correct mode to playback automation data.

    I don't really have any automation on there. I usually take the segment, and up the gain a bit... but I can't hear the result live via monitor.
    I'll check if I can do that with automation.

    When changing the gain, I don't hear any results


    EDIT: My bad... the effect isn't too loud. that was the issue. Everything working as expected.
    Sorry for creating a post and solving this on my own a bit later.
