I just found this on btdig.com:

It says it is from R2R. I downloaded its keygen and tested it on virustotal.com -- there are 51 red flags. Perhaps that is normal for keygens. Anyway I thought I would mention it here.

Is this a genuine R2R release?

Please read the rules. You shouldn't post links to warez /sites. It's strictly prohibited here. You can name the site but please delete the links.

I dont't think it's a true R2R release. It may be ok as a crack but not made by R2R themselves. Included keygen may be R2Rs. Just chek it out carefully, e.g. in a sandbox or in a virtual environment.

The last R2R release for Live was 'Ableton Live Suite 11 v11.0.0 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R' (windows Feb 24th) So I wouldn't touch that other thing. The releases installer is pre-patched to allow all 3rd party addons to work and includes a keygen.

The sister site has it so unsure why one is looking elsewhere.

 

Stick to the sister site.. I have for 10 years plus and never had a problem

 

Hmm, not sure if this is a genuine R2R Release (I think no)..but it also doesnt seem to be infected. The KeyGen is original KeyGen from R2R (did a checksum test). The cracked exe is really v11.0.2. and has no virus due to VirusTotal. Only 1 hit from eGambit "PE.Heur.InvalidSig" what is normal if an exe is modified. Also, no virus in the installe itself and also not in the cab files.

I just installed it..and it seems to work. No idea why this hasnt been posted on sisters site.

 

Because stealing other people's cracks tends to get less cracks from the original cracker.

 

Because all they've done is apply his work to their release. Its not right. If he wants to release it, he will. But, I have a feeling the same thing happening with the Mac release fucked things up.

 

This is not an R2R release.

This is absolutely correct but its nevertheless usual on sisters site that releases are posted containing cracks from other groups.
And the cracked exe file is the work of whoever modified it.

I don't think this version is even worth downloading, it doesn't have many fixes

 

you can reproduce the patched modifications from R2R on a newer version without any knowledge in reverse coding. and it will use the same Keygen.
the alert are relative to the crypted code used by the keygen to protect it from any modification.
2 of virustotal alerts are based on icon group and files details presence, this is a real joke.

nobody will never put 50 malwares in the same file, when only one is needed. the diversity of the result show that it is not serious.

because the anti virus scan can't read some parts, it will show an alert, even without any virus inside.
so r2r or not will use the same unlock, keygen compatible. you should know it.

that is also why r2r only unlock the first major update 10 to 11, 11 to 12, etc...they don't follow every update, only the new security scheme change or newer structure.

the last update of ableton was only a pdf documentation change.
the original maker didn't call it r2r but stupid website does.

i use the super simple winmerge to compare the original exe with the fixed exe diff.(but any code compare reader can make it)
then paste the same modif in the new version. save as + something to check the fix before use the original name.

it only need the binary code observation and few keyworld or sequence number search to find where to put the modif.
you have to get untouched and fixed matching version files. and find all the modified keys.

Ableton patched only use one modif.
replace this part of the code goes faster than install.

this fix is really super simple to reproduce by copy /paste. it use only one block of data.

thanks a lot bob , when i ever become desperate on some target i will try maybe (maybe on next live update)
but im sure some read only dudes or also members are trying in right now .

EDIT man this actually huge and shows how aimless the moneymaker warez dudes are
unless the protection or code is generally overhault this is like havin patchers like before they stopped to rls patchers cause of that dudes

 

sometime a patcher can help
but not everytime, it only goes faster if you have many modification to make.

the native instruments stuff use a little bit more modif but it works the same way. you can fix a lot of things from this freeware.
without the need of advanced programing knowledge.
