This guy says he's making "random generative" IDM, and while I appreciate the talent here, the creativity, I just don't feel this is remotely dance music. All music genres have a certain nebulous rule in order to remain in that genre: dance music simply u have to be able to dance to it. Now that dancing, it could be as simple as just head nodding in ur car or while listening sitting on the subway, but u have to be able to discern a certain groove. This track is too scatter-y, tooo random, to lock in a groove with which to keep time and get into. THIS is many things, but dance I don't agree with. I'm too involved with real-life affairs to keep up with the latest and gr4eatest of cutting-edge music, but is this what's happening with glitch stuff now??

 

I might actually listen to dance music if it was more like this.

 

I can't dance to this, it mightily hobbles my groove.

 

"Intelligent" dance music , sorry only intellectuals dance to this music
