Installed the latest serum k'd by moria.No matter i connect to internet or not it keeps asking the serial.it keeps doing it once every 2 or 3 days. Tried reinstalling same issue.

Is there a some file that i need to delete?

I searched everything and deleted but after reinstallation it happened again.

Blocked serum with hosts file.Not worked.

Any help please?

 

Luckily i found a fix.Removed all files.

Plugins (vst Au)
Presets folder
A folder started with com.serum in ~/library/
Blocked with host and little snitch

I think deleting that folder fixed issue.And now i was able to re enter old serial and it started working.

Hope it will not crash again.

Edit-Little snitch had a timebomb on bigsur.i had to remove it. I think 4.0.3 is the last version that worked fine but it's not supported on bigsur.Then i had to block daw with built in firewall.Still serum works fine.

Again it asked for serial after a clean install?

I didn't even connect to internet.
Never had this issue with windows (this much).

After few times loaded serum it worked fine.Then i reopened plugin in instrument track.Then it asked serial again?

When will this get fixed? it's pretty much unusable.

 

That’s exactly why I gave up using a keyed version . You can get it on splice for 9.99 a month and with the talks of version two coming out at some point it’s worth it as it will be a free update for existing owners .
