    Hi all,

this question has been posted in different forms already, I know, but the specific version numbers of Kontakt and Tools and the combinations thereof seem to be very important in this case so I couldn't really get much help from the previous posts unfortunately.

I am running a cracked version of Kontakt (v 5.6.0) and I'm using some cracked and some officially bought libraries on there (e.g. cracked LASS, Spitfire Strings, Alicias Keys etc.). These show up in demo mode in Native access but are loading fine into Logic Pro X (v 10.5.1) nonetheless.

However, when I try loading these cracked libraries into Kontakt within Pro Tools (20.3.0.163), which I just had to install for a certain project, they come up in Demo mode.
Does anyone know a fix for this?

    I'm running macOS Catalania v 10.15.7

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Vincent

PT uses AAX, which cant be cracked if you are running a legit pro tools?
And if they work fine in Logic this could be an explanation.

    Thanks Arctic Storm!
Yes I'm running a legit pro tools here, and yes again, thhe VSTs are loading fine into logic.

Do you know if there's a work around for this at all? I read of a software called 'Blue Cat Audio' that I think some people might have tried as a solution?

sorry I'm new to the forum, just wanted to reply to your comment directly as well, just in case that's the proper way to do it:
    Thanks Arctic Storm!

Use Bluecat Patchwork to load the AU or VST version in Pro Tools. Use the BC Patchwork Synth plugin as an instrument, not the regular audio plugin.

this is your work around. To just explain quickly, PT is checking if the AAX plugin is untouched, this was removed in a patched PT, a work around is to run something like Patchwork by Bluecats, which was keygened or if you can buy it can load any VSTs, that way you do bypass any checked, since it is a VST, which is patched anyway to load any cool VST you like.

Another point, why AAX, PT is not so super - i mean nobody cares for VSTs (v2 and v3), if they are cracked, modified or what else.
Anyway, Patchwork is your solution and you should find a "working version for you" for mac.

Great, thanks for all the explanations. I see Bluecat have a demo version of Patchwork as well which is great to try it out.

    Thanks a lot!! :)
