So a little background info in case you didn't know...some weird shit ass product is out called Beamz, which plays music by touching lasers...and Flo Rida is promoting the shit out of it, making it look like the most skillful piece of equipment ever. It was soooo crap that the video was removed from the interwebz...

Anyway...Deadmau5, through his twitter, gave soo much shit to the product...teasing it like crazy, and he even bought one just to destroy it:

So for some reason the makers of Beamz made an OFFICIAL commercial promoting the beamz product illegally using Deadmau5's trademark:

Who the fuck does that, putting himself in legal trouble by using a trademark without permission, while at the same time, that particular trademark despises the product. FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!!

Deadmau5 took it a little overboard by smashing their product and sharing the video with the world. What I don't get is why he got all butt hurt about being out trolled. In my opinion I'm not sure he can do much legally about them using his likeness factor to troll his ass to submission. And that's only because I'm pretty positive Flo's lawyers and team dug deep to see how far they could get away with before they broke any law. If anything this little feud Deadmau5 created only benefits one party and you can already guess who. So the joke is really on that somewhat ego maniac called Deadmau5.

 

Deadmau5 = One of the very original trolls...and he didn't get out-trolled...the beamz is the shittest product in the world. NOTHING can compensate for that.

The idea WAS to take it a little over-board but Beamz breached his trademark...which wasn't even proper trolling.

And believe me dude...I would do the same if I were in his position...

If anything we should support him because beamz product is a result of the Music Industry trying to sell out and buy into a genre of music and oversaturate it...

That would obviously frustrate him...

 

Don't feel like getting into a deep conversation about the biz or even what proper trolling is or can be. So I'm gonna keep it real light with you because I loves you, HK.

I don't support anyone who feels they have to shit on someones product due to their inflated ass ego. To be honest, selling out is state of mind and I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you stay real. Wish I could say the same thing about Joel, he sold out, but his core as person diminished in the process. Which is what happens to most weak minded individuals who decide to become successful in the music business (Some call it selling out).

Also, think for yourself and learn to follow your own path. Don't let someone else's view towards things create a distortion between what is truly right or wrong.

On a more serious note though, I've known joel since sectionZ, trust me he was always like that...very vicious on forums...we were all like that, even though I was still a kid...had access to the net and learnt about hate...and now I love it :yay:

And yes, Beamz is a shit product. But that don't mean they have any less rights than DM.
