Hello, I am using for some times now the cracked Kontakt 6.5.2 Portable version, and after downloading audio imperia solo library, I am trying to install it but I have this error. Can anyone help me ? Thanks !!!

I don't have this library so can't comment on if the file is corrupted. Try extracting each.pkg file one by one and see if any are corrupted maybe.

 

Mh, from their homepage 'Made for the free Kontakt Player, Version 6.5.2 or higher'.

 

Hello no avenger, thanks for pointing that out, I am using 6.5.2 portable, I did a mistake in my post, I edited it.

Does sound like a file may be corrupt!

One problem I had w/ Solo is that I dl the installer to my network drive; when trying to run the installer .exe it kept saying "missing .pkg file, install from original dvd" or w/e. I fixed it by moving the .exe and .pkg files to my "kontakt" (local) PC and making symlinks to the rest of the (network) files there. Absolute pain to install this!

 

Solved! Files were corrupted during download

@famouslut I personally have all my kontakt lib. in a T5 Samsung external SSD over USB-c, work pretty great so far

 

Yeah but all NI installers still allow you to dictate where you want the library to be installed.
AND it will still put the tiny prefs files or NI Shared stuff to your OS drive!
You have to click through twice from where it first offers you to install it, to be able to choose "Other", but I know many who miss this.

I didn't ever have the original .iso, just the .pkg / .exe files. I did initially think that the mac installer.pkg file was corrupt, but it was fine. Did you dl to a local network (ie //192.168.1.69/ or whatev?) @Ahachez1? Because:

I know that it wants the two installer files to be on the machine you're trying to install the library to. You can leave the "solo library partX.pkg" files on your network, just make symlinks (shortcuts) to the (local) directory where you copied the installer files. Saves some time, I guess. Also space?

 

try too extrakt the installer

 

make sure you extract the folder from the iso to your to your comp then it will install i had the same message when i tried it the first time
