Yo, so, I always found me having trouble to find the *perfect* crash sample to create *that* tension, you know?

The part of the song that you want to bring energy asf and make a nice build-up, but yeah, I still find it so hard to make a satisfying rising mommentum in my songs, so I want to know:

What are you guys favorite goto crash/risers samples?

    Mine is: the attached ones

    Thanks for the samples. :)
I don't have any go to cymbals.
I recorded a wave at the beach, reversed it with some reverb and used it in a track I made last week for something different.

Yea I think foley is a bit common in my genre for transitions with similar technique to the reverse reverb vocal. They mostly use it on one shot plucks, door slams, breaking things etc.
Though I hadn't heard a beach wave swell transition, it fit my summer track nicely.
ZOOM H1N. Not that expensive and good to have to create your own samples that no one else has.
Or just print things with reverb and reverse them.

Sylenth would probably be my go to synth for risers.

KORG M1 Kits has some awsome cymbal sounds, but you have to sample them.

risers you can make with pitch plugin, which has continuous pitch modulation.
