Came across this video today, thanks to Youtube algorithm for not sending me to the "cultured gentlemen" clips again (if you know what I mean). Got nothing better to do, and figured I watch this one. Funny how we are discussing about "what synth is more analog", but these guy that already have the real analog synth (dont know which model, pls enlighten me, not really a big fan of MA) sold their car to get a real recording of the string section. Fast forward to 3:25 ish for the story if you don't want to watch the full video, it's an okay video though.

 

damn, I really wonder if tech was along the same way then would they have sold the car or if they would have just used Kontakt and smoked a blunt. such a different time for production
