Hello guys when i use neural dsp plugins with soothe 2 both from R2R,and select certain presets in soothe 2 i get weird artifacts sounds.like clicks and pops and the tempo of the song also gets slowed down,
This only happens when i use both of them together, and to mention this occours with certain presets in soothe 2 not everyone.
And one can through some light on it??.

I bet it's something to do with your latency settings. Try recording with just the neural dsp plugin and then apply soothe after.

Did you turn down your latency settings after? Soothe is one of those plugins that since it applies all this filtering in real time it's best to just let it catch its breath. Also I'd try bouncing out the track with the Neural DSP stuff on it and then putting soothe on it after that.

You mean by reducing the buffer size??

Try increasing the buffer size. Neural DSP plugins are known to be CPU intensive, and from what I've read Soothe seems to be so as well. So it'd be best to render the guitar tracks before processing them with Soothe.

Not knowing your system specs & how it is setup leaves a lot of guess work. What I will say is this, Soothe is a plugin that is meant to be used post recording (after recording).

If you are trying to tame or smooth out frequencies in Neural DSP (guitar or bass), it should be done in the plugin first. after that, you can try using a standard EQ or, dynamic EQ ;ike the free Tokyo Dawn Labs Nova.
