    Someone once, a long time ago, told me that if I follow this sequence it will automatically skip all that worthless trash at the beginning.

    01 - Hit play on DVD player remote control.
    02 - Hit the stop button on DVD player remote control 2 or maybe 3 times in succession.
    03 - Hit play. It will go straight to menu.

    I have done this automatically for so may years that I don't even think about it anymore. Its a habit.
