iOS emulator for windows?

    i wanna use an app which is only available for iOS but i got no iOS device so i googled iOS emulators for windows but none of them actually work. do you know one that does? thx

    It's very hard to set up. I haven't been able to do this.

    i've done it about 2 years ago in order to create a hackintosh and it was not that hard, you need to use vmware unlocker to be able to boot macos @reverbmuddiesmix look at your PM i sent you a link there

    Nowadays it's pretty easy to setup a vm with macos.just watch some youtube videos.

    But you can't install ios on windows.

    bcs Apple reached out to VMWare and virtualbox to restrict it. They all do a lot to make it incompatible to windows hardware.

    think i ran Snow leopard the last time in Virtualbox. Since then i have never bothered. Actual Apple went sure on not recognizing the VRAM in the VMs. Which restricts lots of apps to run, like Logic.

    Only solution is probably to build a dedicated setup with normal hardware components to run natively.

    There is a patcher for VMware Workstation 11-15 and Player 7-15 for Windows and Linux to allow OSX booting.

    This won't make it any faster however. I found it useful for doing XCode programming, but it didn't have accelerated graphics so was sub par.

    If your CPU is Intel, you might be able to do this. I failed with AMD. I was trying for about a week...!

    Offtopic software developer rant: we should all ditch Apple. The company makes proprietory hardware without allowing others to develop software for it without buying the hardware.
