Hi there I am using Omnisphere 2 and certain patches like Big Boomer presets the sound crackles I have noticed that it has something to do with the Pro-Verb inside Omnisphere.

My DAW is Cubase 11.

The Audio levels are fine and I have tried changing my latency and nothing works. I even turn off my Audio Interface and it still does it with ordinary Motherboard soundcard.

The CPU Levels in Cuabse's Audio Performance are fine not even close to maxing out either.

I am really stumped on this one.

 

I think it's on Spectrasonics end. Everybody seems to be experiencing it on Big Boomers and other presets with Proverb like Armando Pluck. Stll waiting for the update that will solve this. Apparently it's a known issue at Spectrasonics but they outsourced the build of Proverb and they seem stuck with it until they do a complete rewrite.

 

Under the 'Tone' section of Pro-Verb, decrease the low cutoff & the crackles should disappear. Corrupted IR sample in source?

 

Crackles are still there. It's in the code (see my post).

 

Is it possible to put the library we have on version 2.0.3d of Omnisphere 2 on version 2.8.7? the plugin is already installed with ok permission

 

Proverb is still broken and Spectrasonics knows it.
It is not related to a crack, it also happens with the legit version.

 

It's a pity Omnisphere doesn't have many other presets to choose from
