that release works. What MacOS are you on? Did you edit the folder to your username? The license is supposed to go here: /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/af854ba56b229a56c422472ee764eba8

there really isn't that much you could screw up installing it....

If you read my post you know it is in the right folder. This the license 37407b49c6f81525d94a97ef72d378b3.lcs
Mojave is the OP. And tone it down next time or don't respond.

tone down what? ask for help. get an answer you don't like. be rude to the person trying to help. perhaps you could encourage people to try to help by saying something gracious like "thanks. while i did not specify the actual path of the folder it's in i declared that it was the right folder and you should have assumed that i am incapable of making a mistake."

    Did someone write Smooth Operator?

Also calm down! Your description of your problem is very inaccurate. Try to add more details.

"Tone down what, Motherf*cker?" - Ed Norton in Rounders.

I questioned the folder, because you clearly did something wrong. And moving the license file to the correct folder is the only thing you could do wrong in the steps. And the OS, because of any compatibility questions.

Good luck with your software. Welcome to ignore.

    Hey Guys ,

Have a related question . The issue is , after going through : /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/

i dont see any folder named : af854ba56b229a56c422472ee764eba8

and i tried just pasting it in the application folder , that didn't help.

    Thanks in advance

    kush,

You have to first run the plugin installer, then open your DAW, so the plugin will be scanned in your DAW during startup.
The folder with name "af854ba56b229a56c422472ee764eba8" will be automatically created after the plugin scan.

    Hope this helps !

Once you run the plugin folder will be created automatically.if not create a folder manually and place license file there.

Had same issue with delay plugin. But it was a permission issue (big sur). You can fix it by resetting permission with batchmod.(if above method fails)

It's not a folder in your DAW. it's a folder on your internal SSD.

Create a folder and move it where it is supposed to go. Change it to your own username. /Users/YOUR USERNAME/Library/Application Support/af854ba56b229a56c422472ee764eba8/ and then put the file inside it.

Then in Terminal, issue this command, again with your username there: sudo chmod 755
and then drag the folder to it, hit enter, enter your password.

Or use Permissions Reset or BatChmod on it. Google for download links.

Then Codesign it. Search for Codesigner on Sister SIte for download or do it in Terminal.

I did exactly what you told me to do in the terminal and it gave permission denied

You issued every command in that screenshot incorrectly. Here we loop back to the initial person who said "I did everything right, but it doesn't work".

You have to combine the command with the target file and its location. If your Syntax is wrong, your Mac will just laugh at it.

    sudo chmod 755 /Users/YOUR USERNAME/Library/Application Support/af854ba56b229a56c422472ee764eba8/

Use BatChmod. It is point and click: https://batchmod.en.softonic.com/

Or Permissions Reset 2. It is even easier. https://ohanaware.com/permissionsreset/

You may not even need to deal with the permissions of the file, but this was suggested by users above in case you ran into that as your problem. Create the folder. Move the file. If it still does not work in your DAW, then you know it is either permissions or code signature.

I made the first step that was creating the folder with license in the application support but it is no use when I open the logic. In fact I do not have much familiarity with the terminal. I'm a curious mere. I tried and couldn't. Thanks for teaching me the steps by steps.
