but, wasnt there a release* of this not long ago?
maybe it can be craxed to be used with our samples at least.

testing out vocals and ideas from their cloud in sync with my daw, that is what i used it for mainly. and not that much at the end really

 

I can upload version 6 that still has the user library function if anyone wants it?

 

I always keep a copy of a fully working version of any software that I use often and regularly just to avoid problems. just get yourself a pocket size backup hard drive exclusively to keep your important software. At U.S. $50. for a 1Tb drive it's an inexpensive lifesaver and you will never be in this situation again when you have backed up copies. I have a Grapfic program that is only 35mb, does everything I require and have used it since Windows 98 and still works on every version of 32/64 bit Windows right up to Win10. The newest version has lots more useless features and crap that I do not need, use or want, the latest unbelievably over bloated 2021 version is 1.5 Gb in size. A perfect reason why to have a backup copy of an older version of your favorite software.

It's good that the client pays when he needs it, but forcing him to pay for his own samples is not good, they are hungry for money, it has given me a lot of rejection.

For Mac users, if you don't want to install it just yet click update on loopcloud and before it prompts to install look in your cache folder as the installer will be there as a .pkg

Can somebody elaborate more? Been using it for a while, not missing anything. What do you mean by 'don't let you use personal libraries'? I don't have any issues and everything seems to work nicely. Maybe I am missing a cool feature, something I missed?

Ah ok thanks. Yeah I can't check that... I currently have a subscription active, due to their last 'deal'. Thanks for explaining. The 6.0 version from the sister site, doesn't work smoothly for me. Maybe need to reinstall it completely. Oh well.... maybe later

 

Yea there forcing people to pay only people with subs can use the library feature which I think sucks there making enough money plus 1 through 5 were all free .As for it working its been working great for me since I got it.I was debating on subscribing to them because I liked there software and I felt like them doing it for free would be my way of kinda giving back but now my stance has changed as I feel forced and I dont like that but thats my opinion.They already had the program blocked from using the fx for free users they should have stayed that route they didn't warn anyone just said heres v6 and then people realized they screwed up.

 

Uhh anyone saying that they can use thier personal library on v6 is clearly not doing something right. I am able to use my own library and use the match function as well. The new algo for instrument analysis kind of suck though. Fyi this is on Mac

 

version 4 was amazing because it had unlimited sample preview i would be very happy if someone got the installer

 

Need help.Loopcloud 6 is trying to index folders and crashes in startup. I've tried to desable scan at startup,but nothing. Anyone know how to fix this?

 

version 6.0.1 you can add libraries but version 6.0.9 doesn't let you do it anymore and forces you to pay for it
