I really dont think they're as smart as they think they are though, because I believe whenever the process is initiated a flag is thrown up in the code. Thats not quite a fix, dont you think? on that topic I also think ----- also uses the same "flag" scheme. This is pure speculation.. But I believe its just a temporary fix. Where is the discussion?? This is a big effing deal, all addictions to "new things "aside. Maybe Im missing something? I think one of the ultimate problems with the release in my opinion was a lack of open discussion on operation and use, even with the instructions written as they were.

The new Softube plugs, Steven Slate VCC, GRM Tools 3 and others use Ilok 2 / PACE Eden, which is a completely rewritten version of PACE. It has new crypto, new routines etc. So I think we have to wait some time until the groups will be able to unpack these. Maybe we will have to wait a looooooooong time. Maybe not. Only the scenes's masterbrains know. Meanwhile you should focus on the main thing - create some real good music!

ilok2 is already crackable. waves v8 is released last days.
new releases will come in next coming months.
