Reaper Daw - how to snap

    when i move the item it keeps snapping a bit outside the start of the bar each time

    i need the end of the item to snap but it keeps staying outside the bar

    Right click on the Snap item at the top (horseshoe), a bit below the center 'Media items snap at:' set to 'Snap both start/end'

    It looks like it is snapping to the grid and the grid is set up per measure.

    btw i thought it could be done with stretch markers somehow too but i forgot how.....maybe it can't, i don't know if i remember correct

    ... are something completely different. You need them to stretch audio files automatically, AFAIK.

    with snap offset at 5:25




    both ways good to know

    You're sure your item has a snap off-set?? I don't think so.
